01

A landscape of contrasts.

The island changes character as you move through it: pale rock and open views, sheltered bays, small settlements and older agricultural landscapes. Let the journey be part of the day. Check weather and road conditions before driving into more exposed areas.

02

Follow the olive trees.

Lun, in the north of Pag, offers a striking change of pace from the beach. Its olive groves are a reason to slow down and see an older island story. Use the official visitor information for opening arrangements and access, and treat the groves as a protected living landscape.

03

Taste where you are.

Pag cheese, island lamb and local olive oil give a meal a clear sense of place. Ask restaurants about origin and seasonality rather than following a generic list of the ‘best’ tables. Leave time for lunch; the island rewards an unhurried afternoon.

04

Keep one day unbooked.

Build your club nights around one gentler day: a coastal walk, an easy swim when conditions allow, or a drive to another part of the island. Do not assume summer services run in the same way in May. Verify excursions and return transport with the operator.
